Well here we have a trackless snowblower I'm gonna put a quick hitch on it and have a driveshaft made to fit my tractor it should be a challenge but we'll worth the reward let it snow let it snow let it snow let it snow

Not to shoot the goose your aiming at with a marshallow rifle:

If that unit was rear mounted unit and you intend to mount it up front
you will need a PTO reverser coming off the rear PTO stub with a much
longer PTO shaft.

Or you have a mid PTO that will need a reversing gearbox and three point
hitch kit from Pronovost.

I gotta figure out which way the gearbox moves and if it doesn't go the same direction as the Kubota then I'm going to have to get a reverser should be no problem should make one heck of a snowfall

If that Is a Normand brand rear mount you are going to need
a three point hitch kit from Pronovost with its integral reversing
gear box.

You need to call the Pronovost folks in Quebec quickly(on monday) to
order one for your mule as snow is soon upon us.

BUT having said that:

You will spend less money and time mounting it on the rear and
using it that way as you will only need a new PTO shaft.

Spens some extra money on HID lights and you will be money ahead with no
need to fabricate anything.

FWIW current PTO reversers for japanese implements/operating standard PTO drives mount on
the rear PTO shaft and then you can connect the PTO shaft to the units like a japanese rotoiller

As I said, you will be money ahead mounting it on the rear which will eliminate the reversing
gearbox and the front three point hitch mount.

I would still call pronovost in Quebec and ask about a front mount thre point hitch with the
reversing gearbox that would let you operate the snow caster with no modifications

I want you succeed not fail

Did you decide which way you are going to go on this? Front mount/rear mount?

Did you ever get in touch with Pronovost? I'm curious what the price would be on the front mount kit that Leonz is referring to.
