i have a 2005 2615 HST. i have roughly 370 hours on it. i have just noticed that it appears to be a little sluggish under a load. i changed the fuel filter and no big change. it was running great up to the time we logged out about an acre and a half of woods and i cleaned all the tops out. drug tops for about 3 weeks............ the tractor was awesome! not sure if i just need to run sea foam through the fuel or something else. thanks for any and all recommendations

Did you change the air filter also? Or at least blow it out?

No problem always good to check your air filter every 50 hours or so. Sometimes you can blow it out with an air hose from the inside out and clean it good enough but if you can tap it against something and dirt just falls out it might be time for a new one lol. If you havnt replaced it within 200 hours or a years time it may very well need a new one either way. Good luck with it and let me know what happens

I also just noticed this is an HST. They will have an HST filter that could be causing the problem as well. Think its in between the lift housing and the right rear tire. Make sure you didn't loose any fluid

yeah i have not noticed any fluid leaks. it stays in the garage. i know i put it through a very rough workout dragging all the tips out of the woods. i will say for a 26hp, it is one strong little tractor!! i bought it new and have had zero issues with it. very happy with it.

They are great machines and will really dig down and grunt. Id go ahead and do a service if you havnt in a while. Air filter, hyd filter, HST filter, fluid if its a bit off colored.. Make sure your putting a premium hyd/transmission fluid in it.

The air filter was the culprit!! Man was it ever so dirty. Blew it out and it runs like a new one again. Thank you so much for the help. That is one that I will never forget. Again, thanks so much.

Thanks for letting us know the outcome. I love my 2615 and wouldn't dream of trading it.
