My back and shoulders are very jealous of your UTV.

I did use my tractor to load our doe in to the truck. Dragged her to a clear part of the property, rolled her into the bucket.... dumped her in the truck. Easy peasy....

Haha mine were burning just to get him in the back of it by myself. Never has been deer with weight like that around here until the new laws came into play. Now we are seeing those 4-6yr old deer and they have the potential to grow big at that age here. I was dumb and sold my receiver basket I use to haul everything in.

Been lucky;shot a nice doe this morning with the ML,guessing 115-120lbs.will weigh tonite when I get some help.Had all I could do to get it into the back of the Rhino.I had just put my snow-plow on the tractor and didn't want to take it back off.
The buck(8pt.)was shot on my property,weighed 170lbs.

Just weighed the doe, bigger than I thought......136lbs.and I know there are bigger out there yet.

2 more excellent looking deer there NY. Congrats!

Wife and I are just back from our visit up your way. Sadly my only day to hunt was Saturday, and the rain did not cooperate. Poured heavy on me until about 12pm, then changed to snow.... then back. By the time I got home (330ish) not a single thing I owned was dry.

Plenty of sign, but nothing was moving in the weather.

However, i did get to meet my niece for the first time.... there's always a silver lining.

Talks have started between my wife and myself about moving up to the property for good.... (Winona State Forest area)

Keep the venison coming guys.....

I have been very blessed this year. Got a 12 point @ 180lbs field dressed and a week later got a 6 point @ 150lbs. Killed both out of the same corn field chasing does. I am a meat hunter but admit that I am quite proud of the rack on the 12 point.
