CCW thread closed due to politics

Since CCW are issued by government all CCW threads should be moved? Can't discuss them without politics. The subject alone is political. HS

It was non-political for the first couple dozen posts and it didn't need to go into issues beyond possession of a permit, type of firearm and how long one has had a permit.

The question was " How many have CC permits?" It should be possible to answer and discuss requirements in different jurisdictions without making political comments. Most of the first 175 posts stayed on topic while a few made policy comments which led to the problem.

Gun ownership for better or worse, IS a political topic.

I didn't read the CCW thread, but ultimately IMO for a thread to be closed, it takes two to tango.

By the way Roy, in laws are all settled in NC. For some strange reason, even though my FIL spent 68 years in Vermont, he's not missing the weather LOL
