Good Afternoon, Oh Wise Ones,
I have inherited an older Ford (?545?) tractor, and it seems there is a blown freeze plug, as it leaks coolant from between the motor and transmission, out through the starter. As this is going to merit breaking the unit in half, I am hoping to get a positive ID on it, to assure getting the correct parts in place prior to this major surgery. Other than the chronic coolant leak, the unit runs beautifully, and hopes to continue to serve for decades longer! I cannot get the computer to upload the pix of the vin plate, but here's what it says: Top line: C481474. Second line: K5011F, followed by 5J26B. Third line: 5G07C. Fourth line: 5H21B, then 5B26C. Fifth line blank. Then, in raised lettering on a plate on the starboard side of the block: D4NN 6015F, then stamped into the block below this, also starboard side is what I believe to be the VIN: K764329. Elsewhere on the tractor, there is, on the transmission (?): D3NN 7006C, 957E-4033A, and "N20 1 75 C5 NN 4024Y MH"
