4. When I bought my tooth bar, I had to drill new holes, since its bracket didn't align with the existing holes in the bucket sides...but maybe Kioti makes a tooth bar specifically to fit there and use those holes? rd_macgregor

Did you buy it new or used. If used, then the previous owner drilled them for some attachment he had. If it came from the factory like that then Kioti must have some attachment that bolts to it. Or they could be for any of the previously mentioned posts.

The only use we have seen for them is in shipping the Front Loaders. The buckets are shipped standing up on the shipping pallet. There are lag bolts through the holes holding the bucket to the pallet.

Thanks for an answer.. by the way I lied in my post when I said it only had one hole on each side, it has 2. I looked at it again today.

Yep, that's what my dealer explained to me when I asked about the predrilled holes in the sides of my standard bucket a few months ago. Mine are in a different place, as the bucket itself is different from the OP's.

The holes are there specifically to keep us amused and confused. I drilled them about a year ago.

When that bucket fills from water because of a heavy rain when it was left out, use them for the sump pump lines,,,,I know, you didn't choose the front sump bucket pump option, wtg!:laughing:
