Snow Snow thrower Cnx

This is my third inner shield/nylon repair kit for my BX 2750C. So it's pretty clear I have something connected wrong each winter. I have attached photos of my snow thrower without the inner shield on it as well as the nylon repair kit. Can someone tell me how to connect it? Where does that metal ring go? How on earth do you get the inner shield to snap on to the nylon ring? I tried pushing it on over the white clips, but was unsuccessful.

Before you hook up the front PTO to the mid PTO you must put down the metal cradle or kick stand. If it is not put down, the plastic guard will get trashed.

Sorry I can't help you with putting the guard on.

Hmmm, can't really help you with that. I've never had that shield off.
