I owned a B3300SU. Fine tractor-loader.

I would replace the factory NON-RIGID turnbuckle stabilizers on the Three Point Hitch with a set of pinned and adjustable RIGID stabilizers from Mark Hodge at Stabilworks early on.

<$200 Excellent workmanship.

Why LOADED Turf Tires?

I had R4 Industrial Tires and they never marked my lawn so long as the tractor had 2-WD engaged, rather than 4-WD.

loaded for weight, right? and then turf, as I have lots of lawn that I will be working around and over and felt that turf would be the best fit?

maybe not?

(I understand the major cost items are position control valve and mid mount PTO

Yes. Position Control is $500 on the Grand L series. I moldboard plow some, so I bought it.

I found the QIV on the B3300SU very useful when pulling ground engagement implements, including plow, Disc Harrow, and Rollover Box Blade.

B3300SU has highest ground clearance of any of the B Series, so you can get into woods. You do not want a mid-PTO, which faces FORWARD, when you are working in the woods.

Great looking tractor - you're back is going to thank you.
Is that a moose bar on the front?

Personal preference. I found R4s satisfactory. I ordered R4s on my L3560.

5/16" bolt-on Chain Grab Hooks (2) on the bucket before too long. Tart it out.

DO NOT PICK UP A HEAVY LOAD IN THE BUCKET WITHOUT BALLAST (AN IMPLEMENT) MOUNTED ON THE THREE POINT HITCH FOR COUNTERBALANCE.

You can get Kubota OEM pin stabilizers for $150-175 depending on the tractor (mine were $170 for an L3200).

As for tires, we can debate all over the place. My personal opinion, which only matters for about a 12-16" radius around my body, is that turfs would be best if mowing a lawn was a priority, or if snow removal was a priority. If loader work is a priority on any surface (including lawn) I'd pick the R4 tires, or for general utility work on any surface, I'd pick the R4s. If using ground engaging implements, R4.

I have had both turf and R4 tires, and both will tear up a soft muddy lawn in 4WD or 2WD. Both will be easy on the lawn in 2WD for "straight line" work, like driving across the lawn to move firewood, etc. Where turfs matter on a lawn is if you're constantly doing laps with turns, etc, like in mowing. There, the turfs will definitely be easier on the lawn.

I wouldn't automatically get turfs just because there is a lawn on the property, only if mowing that lawn was one of the priorities. I drive across my lawn on R4s all the time without any damage. If I start doing excessive work that requires a lot of turns or going into soft areas, then it will start to be an issue. The turf tires on my other tractor are definitely easier on the grass in those circumstances, but even they will leave ruts in soft areas and tear up the turf if I make a lot of turns.

Excellent post by s219. While I have opinions, I have never owned Turf Tires.

B3300SU has a higher center-of-gravity than the other Bs because of the tires.

Loading R4s on B3300SU is not a bad idea to increase stability.
