Ford releases fuel numbers for the new F-150

How do the big three get around this condensation issue in their HD diesel trucks, all have air to air intercoolers? Not trying to start a war, just curious since I haven't heard of issues with the HDs.

I was wondering that also, I've never had any problem like that in my truck. Diesels run higher boost levels but if anything you would think that would make it worse.

A Ram can hold a magnet to a F150. Remember the F150 is aluminum, a magnet won't stick to it anywhere.

Well, technically you can hold a magnet to anything, it just won't hold itself to some things.

Considering most of the affordable body work repairs would have to be done with bondo.........the magnet would not of stuck to a new Aluminum F150 anyway.

Bondo? I would think a cheap pair of tin snips and some empty beer cans would do. Of course you might need a rivet tool.
Actually I just emptied an F150 patch piece as I typed this

I believe they use a special crazy glue for aluminum body panels. Costs more as well.

Who am I to question Ford's decision to introduce aluminum in the model being a truck. Trucks are known for being used and abused and dented.
I would have thought the high paid marketing guys would have started with a sporty car, which is babied by it's owner.
It's always interesting in hindsight when large corporations, make huge marketing mistakes, that seem so obvious to anyone looking back at it.
