Winter Blend Diesel Availability?

Say Guys,

What are you using for diesel fuel additives?
Is the brand of additive decided by availability, the cost of additive per ounce of fuel treated or what?

Is anyone using a fuel additive for their gasoline; if so, what?

I use Power Service in the white bottle. A $20 bottle treats 250 gallons of fuel. Last Winter I ran a road grader on Power Service treated #2 fuel with no problems at all. Pretty cheap insurance in my opinion. I've had a grader tank full of gelled fuel, not pretty.

WoW! I can't believe I just spent.... reading all 23 pages of that thread! Nevertheless, thanks for pointing me to it! :drink:
Some times off subject (talk of jets, tanks, etc.) but for the most part "Your mileage may Vary" attitudes..... which is kinda what I expected.

Depends upon the liquid but a good Yankee glug from a cider jug is at least three metric glugs from a vegan fruit juice bottle.

Stores start posting Oct. 15 as the cutover date to blended fuel here, but I'm with you guys - who the heck knows when/what you're getting? Treating your own fuel is the only guarantee to start & run!

Ours jumped up .40/ gal. in november and it was because of the winter blend so I went and filled up after that and now its dropped off .40 along with the price of gas. Who knew? Ha!
