'07 Kubota BX2350
I just installed my new-to-me BX2750C on my BX2350. After reading up ahead of time, I was skeptical of Kubota's original idea of mounting the chute rotate handle to the FEL joystick. After using it once, I was convinced it was a bad idea.

So I looked over the right side of the machine trying to figure out a better way of mounting the rotate handle and came up with this. I ended up using a piece of 3/8" thick, 3" wide aluminum bar stock and mounted it to the FEL bracket. You'll notice I had to add a stack of washers for the bottom mounting bolt (circled in the picture).

If by the end of the season I don't make any more modifications, I'll probably cut the top end down some and paint it.

If anyone tries this, note that the handle will slide in and out quite a bit as the blower is raised/lowered. Make sure you account for this to ensure the handle doesn't hit the FEL joystick and that there is room to rotate the handle.

Nice and simple - looks like it will become a permanent improvement.

DUH! I detest the lame way Kubota does it, and have been pondering a "fix". THANK YOU!!!!!! Not sure I can do it with aluminum, that's pricey stuff, but I think I can work something out now. Dang, who would have thought, just use the KISS principle... sheesh I'll be looking into that tomorrow, no loader bracket on mine, but the holes are in the frame........

Where did you get the tire chains for the front tires? Was there an issue clearing the hub?

I had Tractor Supply special order the chains from their supplier which was Peerless Chain at the time. I just found some old e-mails that show the part number was 1062256 which was what the mfg recommended. However, I got those in and found they were too wide and there was interference with the tie rod ends. Called Peerless to complain and they suggested a different chain set but I can't seem to locate the part number for the new set. This new set fits perfectly with zero slop and there is plenty of clearance around the hub and the tie rod ends.

I have to thank fish6942 again! My version is complete, just waiting for the paint to dry. I'll get some pictures once it's on the tractor. Even though it's well above average temperature wise, it still might take a while for that paint to cure at 40ー and 95% humidity!!!!

Even with it simply clamped in place, the chute turned with 1/4 the effort because of it being on a solid support instead of flopping around. Bad, Kubota, bad.

Yes, indeed. It is simply amazing how Kubota, a company that seems to do everything in a topnotch fashion, could come up with such a terrible hand crank arrangement. Maybe it is marketing strategy to sell their $800 hydraulic rotators. Either way -

Glad it worked out for you, will look forward to the pictures.

I've learned so much off of this site I'm just glad to be able to give back once in a while.
