No delivery service, including the US postal service, has delivered in my life time past 10 o'clock at night in this area. If this person thought that would be a good excuse, sub bold for stupid. LOL

Speaking of the US Post Office.....
A while back got a call from someone (Kaletia or something like that with an accent) claiming they were with the US Postal Service. She started asking about a priority package service or something (wasn't clear) and was I a business or residential address and needed more information for a delivery. I asked where they were and they stated Philadelphia at which I told her to get lost (I'm in Massachusetts). Seemed to have the smell of a scam or something else. Whoever it was had my name and unlisted phone number. Their caller ID gave unknown name and number. Reported it to local post office and they were going to pass it on to the higher ups.

The first thing you need to do is install security lights that you can turn on and make it DAYLIGHT at all corners of your house!
I have triple flood lights on a mast that gives me very good visibility for my driveway.
With my lights on him I would have held him at gunpoint until the Sheriff arrived!

I have the same type of security lighting but doubt I would have held the guy at gunpoint...however I WOULD have had my .380 on my person while confronting him and would have told him he had no business being on my property and told him to leave. ALSO taken his picture with my phone camera.
