NH 1925 hst what is the clutch pedal for ?

I have been playing with my new toy , but for the life of me I have no clue what the pedal on the left is for . I am guessing it is the clutch . But its a hydrostatic machine . Maybe for the 3 point ? I am also curious if the hydrostat is seperate from the hydraulic oil?

Do you have a low, medium, and high range hst? Clutch would be for disconnecting the engine so you can shift.
Manual should tell you about the hydro/hydraulic oil. Most hydrostatic units I have seen are combined.

It does have 3 ranges , The guy I bought it from is looking for the manual , I thought it was strange that there was a filter for the hydraulics , and another for the HST .

Most Kubotas have two filters as well. One is a hydraulic suction filter, the other is for fluid the HST. Someone may have schematics that give more detail. Same fluid in a single reservoir for both hydraulics and HST.

I had a Mahindra 2615 HST. It also had a clutch pedal. My main clutch use was for engaging the PTO slowly.

It is the clutch for shifting ranges and engaging ptos. Probably a common sump for hydraulic oil with two filters, at least that's what mine has.

PTO and range gears would grind pretty bad even at idle without a clutch.

On my TC 29d the PTO's need the clutch. However I have found that changing ranges sometimes feathering the clutch allows it to change easier and faster.
