I did on the JD LX188. It no longer spins going up hills nor does it slide down hills.

I tried to find a supplier for these but was not successful. I believe the supplier I found was called 'Hotshot' and the tires available were GE Force GT220's. I'm looking for tire size 23 x 10.5 x 12 for my Husqvarna GTH26v52LS. Can you give us the supplier that you purchased yours from please?

The ones close to my tire size were 22" which won't work; makes the mower not level. They were about $100 each plus tubes if desired - which I do. I'd sure like to find some 23"s .

By the way, I did discover that my golf cart came with this style. And as you stated, I've never ever had a hint of tire slippage with the golf cart in clay, mud, hillsides, wet grass... nothing.

You have any info on these. My rider could use a set. Did you have to trim the front fenders for them to fit?

I think Dan must have gone a larger size. I went with the all-terrain tires of the same size of my turfs. The new rubber was about an inch taller than my old turfs due to tread difference. No mods needed for mine. Actually, I don't think my Husqvarna has enough gear to pull tires as tall as his looks. The main thing is, getting away from the turfs certainly improves traction.

Thats what I was wondering with the taller tires and all the hills we mow. Might need to loose a few pounds to help out. Its a decent little machine I just need something bigger.
