Sorry, but there is no substitute for JD green or yellow paint. After a few years, the subs just don't hold up.
So be fore warned, and if it really doesn't matter, then go ahead and use whatever.![]()
Absolutely correct. Better still, Deere paint costs about the same as the cr@p paints. Don't waste your time and money at TSC on paint.
If it is a user, not a show-er and brushed on, why worry about it? Go to the hardware store, buy the cheapest quart of outdoor house paint they have and maybe a foam brush to smear it around with.
Also very correct. Brush on is a waste of time because you later have to sand it down. Wait until you can spray it on since it's actually quicker and cheaper than a brush. Have someone spray it for you if you can't. Otherwise just wipe it down with oily rags to keep the rust off.
