Thanks folks appreciate the comments. I meant to add that one reason I built it this way is the shank can be doubled up (two in parallel) for a narrow trenching tool, I have a water line project coming up.

This is what I got from Bro-Tek. Haven't tried it yet.

Actually, it is a Canadian company from the East Coast, and both pieces together cost me about $430 plus tax. Look it up online, and you can order it.

Yes, I have great expectations, and I may file teeth into it as well so that I can saw back-and-forth on particularly heavy roots.
