If I can find it there is a man in Oklahoma who blogs a lot about your weather. I'll look into it after dinner

Good Evening. 1950, partly cloudy, 60F with 86% humidity. Today's high was 73F and the forecast low is 54F. Tomorrow is going to be even warmer.

We got off to town early this morning and got in a good half a day of shopping. I had decided to buy a 32" TV to go at the end of the big TV to replace the 18" there now. We use it when washing dishes, as our layout is a all together kitchen, dining room and living room design, and the angle to see the big TV is bad from the sink. I had seen one for $228 and that was the one we planned on getting. But when we got there the salesman told us about a 32" Emerson on sale for $168. I've got it hooked up and for what we are going to use it for, I think we did pretty good.

I laid on the couch, read, watched some bad bowl games and napped the afternoon away. Margie is going to Dothan with Sister and Cousin Dee tomorrow, so there is a good chance I will have a repeat performance. I will have to brave the far reaches of my library though. I finished the last book I had checked out from the county library. I called myself stocking up, but they didn't last near long enough.

I have finished eating dinner(supper) and not having any luck. I had him bookmarked but now it's not there. Larry Cosgrove is a good one at weatheramerica but is mostly a paid site. Will have to do some more research

45 here now, was in the 60's today. There's something to be said for a nonwhite christmas. Supposed to get rain/snow mix tomorrow night.
Got a little cleaning done in the basement and barn yesterday. Got a couple new tires on the suv today, and some football watched.

36F. Maybe some showers overnight.

Had a good visit with the family. Came home with a selection of chocolate goodies made by Lake Champlain Chocolates in Burlington, VT, a delicious homemade lemon meringue pie, and a book: 1491 New Revelations Of The Americas Before Columbus, "a portrait of human life in the Americas before the arrival of Columbus." Sounds interesting.

The roads were dry. One mildly close call with two does crossing the road but luckily it was in a 35 mph zone. High 40's in Southern Maine today. No snow on the ground from Auburn south (that's 75-80 miles north of the New Hampshire border).

Thanks guys for the suggestions. After reading them I remembered that a neighbor has a two seater unrestricted side access trail vehicle. I'll try that next to see if he is able to slide over. The golf cart has a bar on the side of the seat - which is where most of the problems are coming from.

50 degrees this morning in clouds, ahead of a wet warm front that will push temps to high sixties. Rain coming in from SouthWest, marching across Western NC now.

Ran my Echo 450 for about an hour yesterday cutting up some downed hardwood in the small bit of woods out by the road. That part of my property was never logged so first place I've looked for wood, and it was there. Have another large tree down over a farmer's field, that part was cut up, but I have twenty feet of large diameter stump to cut up. That will take the 600 model, and I'll probably get my fireman neighbor to run the saw while I run the seat on the Kubota. Nice job if you can get it....
Then a twelve foot high upended stump bottom to deal with. Need a dry day or I'll rip the lawn up horsing around with that. My tractor isn't big enough to haul it away in one piece for sure, and the idea of cutting through a lot of dirty wood is just inviting a lot of chain swapping. I'll take a pic today and get your collective wisdom.

50 this morning here in the Smoky Mountains headed to 51. 100 percent chance of rain. Drive down yesterday was entirely on wet roads with rain about 75% of the way.

Drew how do you like the 450? What size bar is on it? I have the 400 with an 18. Really like it delimbing and cutting up because it's light.

50 heading to 56 and back to rain.

Had a great day with family yesterday - nice dinner and long hike in the woods in 60 degree sunshine. Rather than exchange gifts with everyone, we did what some call a Chinese gift exchange (sorry if not PC on this) or a white elephant exchange...lots of fun "stealing" each other's gifts.

Here's the salmon, grilled on cedar planks - everyone loved it. Had a baked ham as well. Had 4 other dogs come to keep ours busy, too.

Today, have in-laws from NC coming.
