I know nothing about Ukraine and looked here to learn a little bit about the language and history. It says that the languages include Ukrainian (14 dialects), Russian, and that some signs now include English.

I do not know if this will work, but will use Google to translate from English to Ukrainian.

Thank you for taking on the challenge of posting in English. Anyone who has done some teaching usually finds that they learn something from their students. Your posts remind me that English is often not a logical language.

After learning just a few words in a language, I have noticed that many people in Europe start using that new language right away..... a great way to learn. I know one engineer who arrived here in his late teenage years, not speaking a word of English. Last count, he spoke 7 languages, English being one of 5 he was now fluent in.

Many people here speak only English, and it is rare for people born here to speak more than 2 languages.

Keep posting Vladimir - if you focus on writing English the way you do on building tractors, I can see you writing books this time next year ! :thumbsup:

Software testing..... always fun. I remember hearing of a English/Russian translation software test years ago. The logical thing to do is take an English phrase, translate into Russian, then take the Russian output and run it back through the other way.

When they tried the phrase "Out of sight, out of mind", it came back through the round-trip as "Blind, and Insane".

Context - not easy for people or computers to recognize, at times.
