My Sony came installed at no extra charge. ??? Dealer said LS uses their own wiring harness so they mount and plug in eliminating the cutting and splicing. So that's why many dealers go with the factory radios. If mine didn't have a radio I would have done what George did. Just buy the one you want and trace everything down. With the internet and stereo gurus out there one could figure out the wiring.
I did notice on a few photos posted on here and the way mine came is several used the Sony trim ring or "bezel" around the front of the radio. This leaves the two holes on each end of the radio. The grey "filler" piece they put in from factory where the radio would go if it was NOT installed was in my cab. It has small "tabs" that hold the center in. Cut those tabs and file them down a touch then put this around the radio instead of the one included with the radio. IMO looks better than the aftermarket.
