Loader Kubota L3600 FEL hydraulic problem

Well, that sounds to me like maybe the detent spring was either broken or has been permanently compressed and won't go back, but maybe you're just re-assembling it wrong. Someone just posted about replacing the bottom end detent end on their Kubota loader valve, and it was a self contained unit that just bolts back on without any loose parts spilling out. So see if that is available for your valve. If that was the only problem, you'd simply bolt on the new detent end and be done with it.

That drawing is not much help is it? Lot's of "A" parts and they look different. Get into the right "zen" mode (have maybe 2 beers) get into a comfortable position and put it together, again and again. Keep a cool head and it will eventually come to you.
And you'll never forget that 3 pt. hitch tip either!

I wish I had a real answer for you but I think your on the right track with the big ball @ the spring, just what end? I have had similar situations and done what I said above, (except the beer part) and I'll just walk away if I get frustrated and try later or another day/eve. You'll get it!

Well, the answer on putting this back together was right under my nose. This link in post #7, shows how this goes back together. Thanks to a friend of mine for poiinting it out to me. I should have read that entire thread last night. :(

It's all back together and working now. :)

Shawn Morin,

You mentioned the 3pt in the high position.

If the lever stays there, the 3pt valve is in relief and causing back pressure and will cause problems with the loader valve.

Push the lever to neutral.

Some tractors are spring loaded to neutral.

Thanks JJ, I wish I had known that before. :) I'll never make this mistake again. :)
