Not looking forward to going outside....over two feet of snow in many places, and drifts waist deep...one of those mornings I wish I didn't have such a huge, long, driveway. The wind yesterday was just terrible. BTW, about the game....WHY did Seattle choose to pass when they were so close to the goal line in the closing minute?? What a stupid, stupid play. After that fantastic juggling catch Kearse made, (one of the funniest things I ever saw in football) it's a shame his feat was wasted.

36 out. Slight drizzle rain showers must have moved through the night. Going to a real job today and glad of it. Back is killing me from burn pile maintenance and fence line work. Darn energizer in the back fence looks shot. Replaced batteries, one new that was dead, should have checked it at the store, another one that I had, no lights, no shock, no fun. Been fighting that fence for a while now, need to spend more money. Argh.

I made it through the weekend. Patched things up a bit with one daughter, gave the littlest one a short tractor ride (I got a couple minutes of seat time too). Ran my saw and cut enough to mound a load of rounds into Rusty (my lil' ranger snowplow truck).

I DVR'd the game and watched it with my friend, sad to see them blow the game on the last play call, but it was a good exciting game. I'm still 100% a Russell Wilson fan...

It was 37 a bit after midnight when I went to bed, and it is 51 now, been a little bit of rain as well. I ran the wood stove all weekend and I'm letting the embers burn down now. The heat pump only came on once a day, in the morning. Not bad all in all.

My coffee most recently is a mix of Eight O'Clock french roast & chocolate mint (~65% french roast), with light cream and fake sweet. I drink a pot a day...

David...a POT A DAY??? How big is the pot you refer to? I have one cup of premium instant coffee per morning...that is all. Coffee does nothing to increase my alertness, I could drink twenty cups a day and all it would do is send me the bathroom frequently.

I think the luckiest player in the SB is the Pat that jumped over Kearse while he was juggling the still live ball. Whoever that was, he should have gone for the still live ball, not jump over Kearse. I say lucky because that missed play could have cost the Pats the game.

Coffee has been poured. 52° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 72° with lots of sun today. Not much planned for today. Need rest from yesterdays game. Good game. Going back to Sisters place to help get rid of left over food.

Punxsutawney Phil calls for 6 more weeks of winter. Doesn't matter. I am staying in warm country for at least 10 more weeks.
