I view it as either 6 more weeks of winter if he sees his shadow or 6 weeks till spring if he doesn't!

As a kid, I remember still having a few small snow piles left for memorial day weekend snow ball battles! Of course the snow was pretty dirty and rocky.

You gotta be quick & silent to make those boots work 'cause boy can they move like a lightning bolt when they get a mind to.

One of my fondest memories of my dear departed Dad was sitting at the kitchen table watching him eat a tongue sandwich. Next thing I knew he was gone - a half eaten sandwich still rolling on his plate. Before the sandwich came to a rest I could hear Dad, up in the bedroom above me, sliding open the closet door. In a jiffy I heard the window creak a bit as it opened, then >BAM!<. Trunk shot from above & behind; .22 LR right between the shoulders and out the chest.
