If you buy ice chains, i.e., chains with "V" bars welded in the crossbar links they will definitely "jack" up your floor. I bought a set for my 2210 rears. Used them one Winter and now leave them on the shelf. They gouged the snot outta my concrete. Let's all think about it a second. A tire chain that will not mark concrete isn't much of tire chain. So on slick frozen terrain what does it do?? :confused3:

My 4 link v-bars do gouge up my floor. I have used the same OSB for three winters now and I will get a couple more years out of them I am sure.

Joey, I couldn't believe how mine cut the concrete. I was turning on it to park. Brand new shop concrete. :irked:

When I worked at the airport we had chains on some of our equipment from 1000lb wheelhorse tractors to 10,000 pound tugs, a plow pickup truck, etc... They permanently marked up the concrete if you spun them. Just from rolling or parking, not much at all, but if you spin them or drag them, well, then, yes.

I like that paint scheme a lot better than the Cabela's colors

Those chains do look good. The Vs on my V-bar chains (on the plowing quad) worked great when new but wore quickly. Of course a quad with it's light weight and good torque will spin the tires easily.

We used conveyor belts on our concrete floors at the fire stations I worked at since the fire engines had chains on for a large percentage of the winter. They kept the floor nice and we just rolled them up in the summer.

Very good idea!!!! Especially where you are backing in/pulling out of a dedicated parking spot.
