You'll develop a technique of sitting on one of your "cheeks",at a 90 degree angle to your implement. That way you can keep an eye on where you going and on your implement. Have fun. Will Sent from my iPhone using TractorByNet

The "90 degree angle & cheeks" or placing your weight on your right upper leg is the best solution. Cameras have their place but it's a huge learning curve to judge distances/tolerances on small screens.

I have experimented a lot with different technologies and they all have there place, and I found keeping my eyes directly on what I do minimize accidents and mistakes, especially on small acreage.

Simplify your life....it's more enjoyable that way.

You said it man! That was a painful purchase to make, but I am glad I did it. The Kubota factory kit is nice, and well integrated, but pricey. For about 1/3 the cost you can do a generic setup that might look a little kludgey but work OK. I decided a clean integration was more important to me, and went with the factory kit.

My plan right now is to hold off and see what I can do with the manual 3pt adjustments. I won稚 be nearly as efficient, but time is on my side. We are not in a big rush to finish our projects. We are toying with the idea of adding a backhoe to the tractor. If we decide to do that, it will probably be hanging off the back most of the time making the TnT not as important. Our culvert should be installed by the end of next week. Once that happens I can get the tractor on the land and actually start doing some real work. Exciting!

I completly agree. I just need to practice. I normally pick things up pretty quickly, so hopefully the learning cure wont be too bad. With only 7 hours seat time so far, I am already feeling more confident. I really need to develop more finesse when operating the loader. I'm still pretty jerkey. Thanks ZAR2USA.
