Looks like you had fun with the tractor. Do you ever use the quarter inching bump stop when letting the blower down? I personally dont like slamming implements down to the ground like that.

I know exactly what you mean radioman and when I watch some of my blower videos I see it often. My idea, which is not necessarily valid at all times, is that when you get a fairly heavy build up of wet snow in the chute and around the auger housing the banging down knocks it out of the blower to prepare it for the next run.

It's a Kubota B2789. I've been impressed with it from day one - very sturdy and handles just about anything in terms of depth and hardness. When the snow is wet and heavy it's necessary to run the engine speed flat-out to prevent jamming and "shearing".
