HELP before snow starts again

I have a JD 750 and the screw for the rod kit (basically a tie rod end) sheered off yesterday while doing some maintenance on the tractor. My local dealer is closed today and closed at 12 yesterday (go figure). Does anyone know the compatible part number so that I can walk into NAPA or AutoZone and get a part that fits on a car or truck but also fits on the tractor? The JD book says that the part number(s) is AM878080, CH14551, AM875953, TR-8290, or CJD4001. We have another 18 inches of snow on the way and the plow is on the tractor. The rod kit fits at the end of the power steering cylinder. HELP!!!!!

Take all those part numbers and the broken part to the parts place. They should be able to look it up and match the broken part.

Did it break off flush with the PS cylinder's threaded rod? If so, you may have to drill out the rod end and temporarily screw it back onto the remaining threads of the PS cylinder rod. It may not work because of the length lost by the section that broke off, but it might get you hobbling along through the storm. Sounds to me that you need a new PS cylinder in addition to a rod end?
What do you think made the end break off? Did you hit something with it?
