New Kubota's

My dealer has a brand new B2650 with a two speed (High/Low) HST. The fuel cap is centered, not offset. I believe Kubota made a mid year change and is calling it a 2015 vs a 2014 machine. Once I looked at the 2015 Kubota site I said no way. I want the three speed HST.

Something's not right -- I have seen several B2650s since introduction in 2013 and they are all the same, with 3-range HST and offset fuel cap. Here are some photos from a 2014 delivery, you can see the offset cap there:

For reference, the Kubota B2650 brochures on their website show offset cap and 3-range HST too, and they have a print date of 2013 .

Interesting. So what year model would it be? The decal on the side of the hood stated B2650. The fuel cap was centered. I asked them how long the tractor had been assembled and on their lot. They said about one year.

You got me, it's a mystery! The 2650 was available starting late 2013 from what I remember. The real mystery is the 2-range HST, as no B series has had that for at least 5-6 years. BX's do, but not B's. If you ever go back and see that oddball model, get some photos!

I'm not sure what you think you saw there, but all large B-series tractors have had a 3 speed rear for at least the last 15 years.

Could you go back to the dealer and take some photos of the two range???

I'm going to ask the sales person next week. The dealer is an hour away from me. Yes I too am now really interested in what they were trying to sell me! It was a B series tractor. They had the smaller 23HP machine next to it and it was visably smaller. Not a BX series though.

I have a 150-200' run to move snow from out front to out back. It takes forever with the plow. I make a snowbank out front, let it settle and harden, then bucket the snow out back, gets it moved in half the time. I need wing on my plow lol, or better yet a 63" snowblower!
