Bipolar issues medications are only helpful to those who recognize that the have a problem and need medication...and who take it.
I have been through the whole gamut with the shrinks on behalf of the parties in my divorce..to absolutely no avail. My Ex would not accept the diagnosis, nor the medication. Years of futile marital Therapy, years of doctors, years of terrible emotional pain. Years of lawyers and BIG bills. The EX remained adamant..insensitive, uncaring. Counselling to no avail, years of character assassination. I tried so hard to find an answer that just wasn`t there. It came very close to killing me. Talk about psychic trauma!!
Finally, after more than ten years of abuse, I lust had to accept that it was a divorce or my suicide. She got all that was left after I paid the bills for Doctors, lawyers, counsellors. Now she is in a mental hospital for life.:confused2:
You cannot make a silk purse out of a sows ear.

My divorce was excruciating and ruinous..but it was the inevitable and the only sensible conclusion. I am now glad it is over. It was futile to struggle with a mental immutability..My struggle was so wasteful.. and so futile.
Here is a truth...Doctors, lawyers, counsdellors make a good living trying to prolong marital suffering..One wonders if they do it on purpose, for the money.
