Pull all the quick disconnects off and then reconnect them on your loader. It is likely something silly like a slightly not seated enough quick disconnect coupler.

I think he means the 3pt lift arms won't respond... Very strange.

OP, are you sure you adjusted the knob under the seat? If you tighten it all the way it will lock the 3pt

That I guess is why I was so relieved when the tractor tech came and couldn't get it to lift either.

First thing I checked was the knob in every position I could think of before I called in for support.

Congrats Eric,

Thanks for the write up.

Does the UK charge any taxes on a tractor? VAT or sales tax?

Here in Texas, back in 2002, the price the dealer gave me was the bottom line. No sales tax or nothing.

I would love a CAB tractor.

Great tractor I'm sure they will get everything corrected right away. You're going to love the cab as much as I love mine. Cherio

Is the loader working properly?

Yes, the loader and 4-in-1 bucket operation work just fine.
Technician knows the 3-point-hitch is fundamentally ok too as it was tested when they fitted radio - before the loader arrived.
It's not a big deal, I'm sure they will sort it soon.

Just about everything except the air we breath is taxed in the UK.
Most items, including tractors, carry VAT at 20%.
If the item is being used for a business you are able to recover the tax later, but you then must tax all the goods you sell. Human and livestock feed are free of tax.
