Good morning and what a fine morning it is.
Ok, it's not very warm and is still raining, but who cares - I HAVE A CAB.

Oops, sorry, think I may have said that before and I don't in any way want to insult anyone with an open platform machine.
I'm sure you won't mind though, just for today, while the novelty of keeping dry has not yet worn off.

I going to give myself the rest of the day off, climb in the cab with a cup of coffee and start tuning the radio.

That is one of the happiest moments in a tractor owner's life when all is new and fresh. I love that new tractor smell.
Wow...and a cab. Congratulations.

More photos will be needed if you can do it.

Don't think that new-tractor smell will last too long - I'm certain to tread in something the sheep left behind.

23 headed to 42 with snow tonight and -7 chill factor by morning. Getting a brief taste of New England down here.

Eric, that's a fine looking tractor and bucket. I know you're proud. Looks like you won't have to drive far to add some nice mud to break it in.

Buppies, hope your face is healing well. My wife wants you to make a call for the snowfall amount for Tuesday and Wednesday next week.

22 going up to 52 today; last "warm" day in some time.
Headed to Lowes with my neighbor later this morning with truck and trailer to get 20 more fruit trees.
Then maybe cut and split some firewood.

This area, like most in the South, will go nuts next week when the bad weather hits.
When I was in Food Lion, the bread guy was stocking up, and the section was crammed with bread.
I asked him if he was expecting a busy week next week and he just smiled. Job security for sure.

Am still waiting for a second estimate on my backup gen and this lousy weather coming increases my concern, due to ice and power lines. The first estimate for a 22kw Generac was over ten grand. I almost laughed at the Lowes rep. 2k high. Trying to decide whether to load manage with 22kw or just install a 36 or 48kw gen and run the whole 400 amp house. Pretty sure I will stick with the former; still want to build my garage/shop in back by the barn and after remodeling this house, uh, extensively...., not much left for generators, furniture, etc. I had this all nicely planned out in the beginning. The best laid plans of mice and men...
no complaints, I'm blessed in many ways, not particularly with health but with happiness. It will all work out.

Spent an hour watching the Lippizaner's yesterday practice for their tour. Pretty cool to see them.

Nice looking tractor Eric, hope the old Ferguson is happy with his new brother.

So my new tractor is a male ? Sexing tractors has never been my strong point - I checked underneath but didn't see anything dangling.

-1F high mid teens light snow falling now.
Depends on what forecast to believe 3-5 inches late afternoon tonight 1-3 inches by late Sunday morning.
Not all that much plan for today...take Mrs. food shopping couple stops here and there.


Eric...that's one nice looking investment you just purchase enjoy and gets some mud on those tires.
