Good Day!

I have just about had it with my Cub Cadet LTX1146 and bercomac snowblower and have decided to get a real tractor. After considering New Holland, LS, Kioti and Kubota i have finally decided on Kubota (0% for 60 months and dealer is 15 minutes away, all of the other an hour away).

I had priced a B2301 but the dealer can only have it on february 19th. He is offering me a B2620 for the same price (he has it on his lot). I realize that this is last year's model but would i gained anything chosing the B2301? I would get more HP with the 2620 and the rest of the specs looks very similar?

I will mainly use it for Snowblowing (rear mounted Kubota) and mow 12 acres of grass in the summer (mid mount mower) with the occasional loader work on property.

thanks!

Edited I got my model number wrong...

The new b2301 has a lot of new upgrades, position control, better seat , better stabilizers for three point, tilt wheel. I would wait for the new model. Just the position control over 1/4'' valve would make it worth it. It has a independent pto also

Just for pricing reference. I traded a B2620 FEL BachHoe to Barlows with 75 hours and 50 hour service done at 50 hours. Stored inside. He was asking $18,000 for it. Know you didn't mention backhoe but I wouldn't do without one now that I've owned 3 of them. He delivers all over US and takes trade ins.

Curious about this as well; also the 2601. One concern I had is when I looked at the specs, the xx01 models seemed to have lower 3 point hitch capacity.

I just did a quick look at the b2301. I have a B2620.

At first glance they are very similar. A little closer look and I see the loader quick attach. I didn't notice the stabilizers and position control previously mentioned. All 3 features are nice to have. If you never switch loader implements the quick attach is moot. But we have a habit of seeing new needs and wishes.

As you probably know the they are different by 3 HP.

The mowers look the same.

I added sliding stabilizers to mine.

So those seem to be the difference s to evaluate... As well as time.

Left side brakes now too. And no clutch pedal.

Thank you for all the replies, I have decided to go with the 2301... I don't think i'll miss the 3HP and the quick detach FEL and position control looks like something I would have regretted!

Thanks all for your help!

Could also go with a 2601 to get all the goodies and the extra 3HP.

I went with the b2650 over the b3350. I kind of wish I had that extra hp. The HST takes a lot to run. With the capacities going up on these machines I'd want the hp to go with it. Don't get me wrong it works great, does everything I need, just a tad more finesse needed to not draw the rpm down.
