How's everyone doing with the SNOW

It's some kind of cold here. Winds were ripping all day yesterday and last night. Very thankful we only got about 4" of snow from that storm. I took advantage and cleared my roof (problematic roof from previous owner) as well as some extra snow clearing around the house. I had just been keeping up with the snow so far, yesterday allowed me to get some extra done that was needed. Everyone stay warm! Gotta head to work, got what seems like a billion snowblowers to fix

Lakes Region NH here...(that's New Hampshire, not New Holland;o)

Over a foot of snow from the last storm...winds are brutal as everyone knows...drift clearing on my 600 ft of driveway and various yard areas will be the task of the day or the next couple days...Can only stay out about an hour before the hands get too cold to work! 10 below zero here this morning with gusty winds make Mother Nature a cruel mistress!

Dealt with some ice dam issues - had water dripping thru the light fixture over our kitchen sink, Friday night.
Spent late Saturday and part of Sunday morning getting most of the snow off the roof.
Man, it was cold up there, but that helps reduce the melting/leaking, for now.

This past weekend storm, Kubotas were working to remove the snow in my neighborhood. Here's a pic of my neighbor's L next to my B3030.

I'm looking at about 8" of snow here cleaned off car,trucks and deck but after watching the news on the northeast I feel pretty **** lucky so far. I wish everyone the best of luck.

Here in New Brunswick we are in survival mode. Deep snow, extreme cold, high wind, power outages.

We manage... somehow. Thank goodness for a Kubota and a blower and a standby genny.
Big city snow plowing budgets are shot to heck. Halifax, roads all blocked, ditto St John and Moncton.

Nice weather for cuddling, tho..... smile!: :mischievous:

Yup, lots down here in SE NB. About 6' of the white stuff in the past month, or less. Not really that unusual to get that much snow, but we don't normally get so many Nor'easters in a row without at least one thaw to knock the stuff down. Haven't had to use the generator since last summer, which is nice, & don't have to work so am kinda enjoying the down time. It will be a mess when we get a thaw as the mid-January weather had all the ditches, etc, over half filled with ice. I have some culverts in the back of the property that were full of ice when the snow began - hopefully the snow will provide enough insulation that the ground will warm enough to thaw out the ice.
