24 right now, and that's the high for today. It'll be dropping to 7 degrees for the "high" today, then -16 tonight. No snow this week though.

Someone told me winds from the South are warm.
Yesterdays southerly blow was wet and felt anything but warm - unless your name is Roy.

It was a good excuse to play inside with my grandson, except urgent things needed doing and none of those things were what I had planned on doing.

I had a feeling it was going to be one of those days when I put on some gloves I had left outside overnight. They were a bit wet - thought it must be the rain sneaking under the overhang. Nope, a fox had called round and marked my gloves! I didn't catch the smell until my hands had been marinating inside for several minutes.

Good morning.

36 now, high for the day, temps dropping to 9. Small chance of snow today, Wednesday and Saturday.

A lot of snow on the ground melted in yesterday's 50s, but ground still covered.

44 degrees in widespread rain, warmest part of the day, dropping into the teens tonight with possible snow (flurries, something?) tomorrow morning as this wet weather lingers.

not much planned today, other than all the calls we realize over the weekend we have to make Monday.

I have about a dozen cast/plastic turtles out at the end of my lane and when they were first put out (I live on Terrapin Track Road...) a local dog came along and took an extraordinarily precise dump on the back of my second largest turtle. I first thought some twisted human did it, but on closer inspection it turned out to be the local wandering german shepherd. Right on the top of the turtle shell, just waiting for me to come along and be impressed. Like you were...

37 out this AM. Went to a real job. Big sigh.

Tractor did well on the driveway yesterday. Took the rake to the snow. Got down to where the sun did the rest!

Should be ice free when the deep freeze returns later today and the rest of the week.

14F, windy & partly cloudy. Same story here, temp starts sliding down later this morning, -12F tonight. The normal high/low for this date is 33/9F. I'm feeling cheated.

riptides, good reminder on tire pressure. The TPM warning light came on a couple days ago and three tires were 26-28 psi. One tire always loses pressure very slowly, I was surprised the other two were down too. Must be the cold because it wasn't that long ago that I checked them.

-5 with a high of 5 as the front moves in. The whole darn week will be below freezing again. Picked some wood off a new stack of wood and found it not burning so well, seems a bit wet.
