In your picture there is a yellow sign on the left corner of your tractor roughly where my warning triangle goes what is it? Really has my curiosity up

The plate that says DX64 BPO is indeed the registration plate. It shows the tractor is registered (and insured) to travel on public roads.
Up until a few months ago we also had to display a round paper "tax disc" that was issued each year, with a fine if it wasn't on show. That has now ended as cops can get all the info they need from a computer.



Six Dogs : I've marked the photo below to show dimensions. Each tine is 17" from the centre of the coil to the tip of the tine.
The tines are made from 5/16" diameter steel, with the main coils formed at 2" diameter.




Drew : I coated some timber with creosote today. With a bit of luck that will keep Mr fox away for a while (and any lost German Shepherds, looking for a terrapin to dump on).
The dog loved the fox smell, the wife less so. Got the fox smell off my hands eventually - now they only reek of creosote.

Many of our friends in North Carolina are going to get dumped on with snow. When all the guessers get done 3 to as much as 8in in areas not normally used to getting such things

7.9F and very sunny @ 16:30 ...

Woke up a bit ago and the blower on the WBF had shut off ... fires mostly gone in both units ... just some coals.

But it was reading 74F on the upstairs t'stat (closer to 80F in the basement) ...

Got 'em reloaded and fired up.

The woman had to work today (make up day for the snow storm) but is done and on her way home.

Will head up to the shop here in a little bit and get a fire cooking up there.

'zactly ... I still haven't plowed since our last big snow "event" (they predicted somewhere 6" to 12" and we've had more since then) ... and we've been up and down and in and out repeatedly ... although The 'Cake is whining about it ...

Besides, do you really want to get on the roads there if it snows 5-8 inches? :laughing:

with staggering accumulations of up to two inches in certain
hard hit areas. Bring it on.
I'll take my one winter photo op please.
Might need to drive the truck in the white stuff tomorrow and engage 4wd to get the gears going.
