It was 11 below this morning , so we too have a ways to go . When April rolls around it will be much nicer for sure , but we could still get a snow storm or two .

It is senility. Not many younger folks have heard of that one, but they will if they live long enough. I did think it was a good joke though- congrats on making me smile. I like to smile. There is no real winter here. I once saw a few flakes of snow, but I saw snow in a couple of places in Australia too when I farmed there. I have never experienced much below zero Fahrenheit, so I shudder to think the sort of winters you have.

Yeah, nothing is going to make people in Boston wish it was snowing again more than an ice storm followed by 33 degree rain.....

Still nearly 3' of snow on the ground in Boston.

No end to it here. Now they're talking 2 to 8" of snow for tomorrow followed by record cold of 5 below.

Supposed to make the 50's this weekend and mid 60's by the middle of next week. I doubt that it'll last though.

It got into the 40's last night. Spent the night fighting back the water coming in from the ice dams...in three rooms. Buckets are filling. This AM, the dripping stopped. It's about 40 now. I guess the melt is able to get under the ice on the roof cause it's stopped coming thru the ceilings.

Oh no, it is gonna be 85 degrees here today.

65 degrees when I opened my door this morning.
