case 646 problems

Hi Everyone, I'm new to this forum and would greatly appreciate any feedback from someone who knows more about this tractor than me, I have a case 646-77 model frontloader compact tractor that i'm getting back in shape to sell and when the engine (16 hp Onan) runs for 20 -30 minutes it suddenly cuts off,any ideas that I might could check out?

Hi and welcome. I am not familiar with the 646 but I am sure someone will be.

It may be the coil, I have had some that when they get hot they short out. Would be the first thing I would check.

Thanks for the reply's, I took my wife away for her birthday and just got back today,hopefully I can do a bit more troubleshooting tomorrow,if I figure it out I'll post it for future information
