John Deere 2032R
Hey guys i have a 2032r with a H130 loader. i was wondering if its worth it to get the skid steer adaptor and how much it will lower my lifting capacity?

Welcome to TBN! Congrats on your new tractor

i guess a bigger question might be what attachments are you wanting to use on
your loader that you want to change over to SS style for?

The carrier itself does not add a lot of weight, the downside can be the limited # of ss attachments that are quite a bit heavier than your current bucket, etc. Lighter ss style attachments do exist just not as many choices as full blown skidsteer pieces. IMO you are better off keeping the std Deere quick attach system, you can buy the upper loops and bottom studs from numerous aftermarket folks to weld on to different att to expand your attachment choices. I personally believe that ss carriers are best suited (if actually desired over the global ag connection) for large frame compacts and utility tractors.

What attachments might you be considering (other than a bucket or forks) ?

well my john deere dealer wants $900-$1000 for a set of pallet forks. and i can find pallet forks for a skid steer a lot cheaper and if i switch to SS then i can use different buckets that my parents have laying around.

I bought an adaptor to go from Deere QA to skid steer from an Amish shop in Millersburg, OH. Beautifully built and fits both my 89hp 5520 as well as 790. Whatever small amount of weight it adds, it's worth it. I should have done it years ago.

In my opinion, a quick attach adapter would hinder your lift capacity and be counterproductive on that small tractor.
JDQA attachments are more common now than in the past, but they are quite a bit more if you buy them from a JD dealer.
