New L3800 HST is inbound

DB, you're in the same boat I'm about to be in. We currently have a 2003 BX2200 that we've been real happy with. It's mainly been a grass mowing machine with it's 60" belly mower, but we do have a FEL and 48" box blade and 48" rhino rotary cutter for it. It's served it's needs well. We'll run the 3800 for a while before we decide what to do with the BX. Initial thoughts are to trade the BX for a ZTR and some other implements, but it's served well as a lawn mower, so maybe we sell just the implements and keep it with the 60" deck.

It was delivered yesterday. Here's one of my "helpers". For the record, she's just posing, not operating it.

I don't see a problem, as long as she's shown how to use it... You need to get it dirty!

She'll eventually get trained. I already have her running the BX2200. She has a weekly chore of pasture "poop patrol" when she drags the pastures with a chain harrow. The rules are that she has to tell me when she's going to do it (so I can keep an eye on her), must wear seatbelt, no friends playing in/near the pasture, if anything isn't right, shut it off. She takes her chore very seriously.

I hope to work the new tractor pretty good over the weekend. It's a muddy mess here this week.
