We're looking at the BCS America model 732 which is the bottom of their pro line. It looks like a nice machine and would be convenient for snow in winter, tilling the garden and even some mowing (mower attachment and maybe also the sickle bar. Model 732 - BCS America

Do any of you have any experience with these late model BCS units and their attachments? Are they generally good machines? Hold up well?

I would put the money towards a small tractor with a loader.... SCUT..sub compact utility tractor,,,you can wrap up a lot of money in one of those BCS units with attachments, and still have nothing more than a fancy rototiller

You did come here to get talked into buying a tractor right?;)

I have the 722, smaller than the 732. While it is great, great tiller, I did not buy the misc attachments in part due to the cost.

Thanks for the replies so far :)

We already do have a tractor (John Deere 4120 with loader, finish mower and large tiller). The main motivation for the BCS would be for a small walk behind tiller after the garden is growing and also for the snow thrower because our driveway is on a steep hill which is unsafe for the tractor (tractor slides on the driveway when there's snow, so I can't use it on the hill for snow removal).

IMHO,I would look on craigslist for a used BCS or a older troy built horse tiller and then a used 2 stage honda,ariens or toro walk behind snow blower.I believe it would save you major $$$ in the long run.
