I'm looking at trading my 1540 in for a 4608 outgrowing it. Got a few questions after reading what little is on here. How is the cold start on them. It was -28 here severel days ago, my 1540 fired right up. If i need a block heater, that's not a deal breaker, (what's cost of one for it) has anyone operated it on hilly terrain, are there any issues with fuel starvation.

my 4610 has started good but I have plugged it up when it gets below 20 just to be easier on it my neighbor has a 4610 also and has no block heater his started every day even in the -22 we had a while back, block heater and cord is about $90 I wud definatily negotiate one in the deal if you buy one.i operate on hilly terrain everyday "its all I got"no problems with fuel and tractor is very stable feeling also.

You're going to love that tractor.
The power on the FEL is just great.
I have mine since January 2014, a little over 200 hrs on it now, nothing bad to say.
Except maybe the shifting pattern that is pretty tight...specially from 2nd to 3rd HI.

I hope so pick it up tommorow, I was looking at the 2635, they didn't have a 4608 on lot at the time, my dealer told me to wait said this was more tractor for very little difference in cost, bought a week and he had 4 come in, mine will be last one leaving, but sold all 4 in 2 weeks. man was he right for 3k, day light and dark. I think I'll love it, it's a big upgrade from my 1540, I loved it, this seems like a giant version of it, that's one thing I liked so well.
