No ... not a mule whisperer .... it all depends on the dam and the sire .. if you spend time with them when it comes to this time .. they have a way of communicating to the youngins ... "your safe" "its cools" he aint gonna hurt you.

I penned them from the rest of the mob and will hand feed momma everyday with a hands on baby... by the time shes ready for a harness she will have full faith in me ... oh she'll have the little kick, nip and let me show u deal ... just gotta in a kind manner let her know!!

Southeast Minnesota. Our nearest "big" city is Rochester, MN.

There's a guy who raises mules just north of Giddings on Hwy 77. He usually has about a dozen. I think it's just a tax abatement for the land, I doubt he ever sells any. They are really nice looking mules.

I always wondered how the US Army ever bred so many mules. They used them like government mules too.

There is just something special about having a foal on the grounds.

Never had mules but did have one mare and foal.
