I have had this scraper for a few years. I mainly used it for making ditches and some leveling. It is very heavy and has cat 2 and cat 3 connections. The angle of the blade is hydraulically controlled. I have never seen a blade like this. I would like to sell or trade it for a disc but I am not quite sure what to call it or how to price it. Any help would be appreciated.

Kind of looks like a primitive box blade.

I would like to see more pics of it, it certainly looks beefy enough is the front side open? like a box blade?

Cheers

Looks like a convertible. It is in box blade configuration in the photo. Reverse it 180 degrees and you have a hydraulic angling rear blade.

Good theory. I've never saw one. Anxious to hear how it works.

Here are some more photos of the Scraper it is 6 feet wide. I am wanting to trade it or sell it for a used 7ft or 8ft disc. I dont know if is worth as much as a disc. That is what I am trying to figure out.

Looks like one beefy scraper / grading blade that can be used coming or going.

Having the wide flat bottom rather than just a blade edge will allow it to float, so it was probably intended more for grading, and perhaps finer material rather than gravel or dense grade.

And it can be flipped 180 degrees judging by the reversable outer piston mount.

Yep, very interesting tool. Definitely can be reversed. Although I see no reason to. Both sides have the same blade angle. Neither side can store material. Not sure why it's reversible??

Wish you were close to me. I'd be interested in it to use it as a grading blade on my timber trails. Wouldn't have to worry about bending the moldboard.

With that said, the moldboard is many times stronger than the structure holding it.

Thanks for posting the pictures. Very interesting. Hope someone will help you out with a trade or sale. Maybe post it on Craigslist?? I'd probably post it for sale primarily. Chances of finding someone with the disc you want that wants to trade for a blade is very, very small.
