Eric, I'm at the point of having to buy a new battery for my lincoln grease gun and I see I can get a k32
Macnaught K32 Flexigun Pistol Grease Gun
for half the cost of a new battery.

What sold you on the K32?

I also see it takes 400g grease tube, I'll have to see if that is the same size used here.

Drew, I'm with farmer2009 on the drains. Non-woven geotextile fabric and stone is brilliant for drainage. Dig the trench, lay the filter fabric in the bottom and up the sides, wrapping round both your pipe and stones, and over the top. The top piece needs to overlap on itself by a good margin so no soil ever gets in to clog.

That's exactly the correct way to make that drain. A lot of posters here believe that "french drains" don't work or are short-lived because they don't know how to build them correctly.

Good Morning all. 56F when I checked the thermometer this morning. Trees are back at the pollen ejection , mo wonder there are so many "volunteers". Forecast for 73F today with light NW breeze. Should get the branches cleaned up today, last day for free drop off. Still have the wood to split. Have some more power washing, new gun for said washer came yesterday evening will check it out today.

Days Work, I had the tree dropped professionally, the closeness to the house and I don't have a lot of experience. I am doing the clean-up and splitting.

Still haven't made it outside, other than going to look for damage in the garden from the storm yesterday. The Farmer's Almanac calls today a most barren time, so no planting or transplanting today. Might get started on my waterline for the new grapevines, or might mow. Who knows, I might load up my canoe or kayak and go wet a line.
