Trailer hitch on 99 Suburban - will it fit a 2002 1500 pickup?

Looking for a trailer hitch for my 2002 1/2 ton chevy pickup. A local has a hitch from a 99 Suburban for sale, anybody know if it will fit?

It showed different hitch for 1/2 ton Chevy, but I don't know which model you have.

Try entering your truck and see what it shows.

For the cost of a new on on Etrailer I would not monkey with a used one. That era GM factory hitch used a design that was prone to internal rust.

Thanks, I ordered a Curt hitch from etrailer. Much cheaper than local stores.

Best hitch on the market. Curt and Putnam have the best paint and finish by far.
