I have the shorter shaft that goes to a Kubota BX2751 quick hitch. This fits the BX2200 and 2230 tractors for driving a front mount snowblower. I am looking to trade for the longer 14.75 inch shaft that fits the longer framed BX2350 and 60 series tractors. The kit is called a BX2753 and it is over $600.00 from the dealer! You still use the same BX2751 quick hitch but you simply replace the 11 inch dual splined shaft with the 14.75 to compensate for the longer frame. If you bought a used hitch and need the shorter shaft please let me know. Thanks

I am looking for the shorter spline shaft. Do you still need the longer one?

I already bought the longer shaft but I have the short one for sale for $75.00 plus shipping. $80.00 would more than likely get it to you. Thanks

I have a Bx 2370 tractor with less than 50 hours on it so I am still in the Honeymoon phase!

I have just installed the BX2750D front snow blower and noticed that the shaft in the 'quick hitch' is floating in the two flange bearings. The bearings have holes for 2 set screws each, but the set screws are missing. It seems that the shaft could drift forward and the rear spline would then have dangerously little engagement.
Should this shaft be secured by set screws, and what size are they? 1/4-28 thread seems to fit better than any metric I have tried, but imperial threads in a Kubota?
Would anyone have a parts list for the BX2751 quick hitch? I was also supplied with a BX2753 PTO drive line kit, but no info. I can't see any numbers on the bearings without taking the blower off again, hoping to avoid this, thanks.

Yes you need to make sure those set screws are in place and tight. I am not sure what the thread size is but I did notice they loosen up on my quick hitch too. If the shaft floats and spins it will wear out your bearing raceway retainers. You could use the blue loctite thread sealant.

Thanks Tony;
I have seen a page from what is a manual for the BX2751 sub frame, I see a lot of inch dimensions, so maybe 1/4-28 is not unusual. I would love to get a pdf of this manual, does anyone have any leads?
Thanks again, Peter
