Distance from tip of PTO stub to tip of PTO stub

Greetings all,

I am building a set of lower arms for the 3 point hitch on my tractor. I have searched high and low and I can't seem to find the standard distance from the tip of the tractor PTO stub to the tip of the implement PTO stub. Does anyone know where I can find such information?

Iv never noticed a standard. Lots of different PTO shafts out there. -- supplied long and cut down when necessary.

Thanks SPYDERLK - I am sure you are correct in that there is no standard now that I think about the wide variety of implements that get attached.

Check ASAE/ANSI standard S127?

Now that I think even more about it I am thinking that there must be a standard somewhere... Maybe I asked the question incorrectly. Does anybody know if there is a set distance between the tip of the tractor's PTO shaft and the center of the ball ends on the lower arms? I would be willing to bet money that I saw something with this information years ago.
