2015 New Holland Boomers

Guys,

It looks like the new 2015 Boomer 54D and 46D, cab and open station models look like they are Shibaura models. Is NH only going to make the Class IV CUTs Shibaura or is NH going to bring Shibaura back in most of the CUT categories? Or is it that the Shibaura will only be CVT models in Cab and OS versions, and the LS models will still be in the HST and Gear versions? I really like the Shibaura tractors better.

Boomer 33-37 3cyl turbo shibura tier 4 regen. 41-47 4 cyl N/A shibura tier 4 regen. Mitsubishi didn't have a plan to go tier 4 yet and all are Ls tractors except the Cvts those are coming out of Mexico I believe.

My LS XR3037HC also has the 3 Cyl turbo tier 4 Shibaura engine.

From what I read before, the new engines in the CVT boomers are made by fiat. I don't think they are Shibaura at all. Shibaura sold their SCUT tooling to Daedong (Kioti) ... Makes me wonder if they also sold their CUT tooling as well, maybe to Fiat. (That's just a wild thought, no proof behind it)

Right ... But the 3040/3050 are no longer made. The 33,37,41,47 are LS made, and the word on the street is that LS is going to be building their own tier 4 engines, so it will be interesting to see if the NH boomers will include those, or if they will stay with the Shibaura or engines. so far, they have kept the same engines as the LS tractors so I would assume that the boomers will include whichever engine LS installs in their own tractors.

Now, what I think will be the most interesting part to watch, is whether or not Fiat will start building all of the tractors in the Boomer line now, or if they will continue to buy from LS for their own station tractors.

Fiat had excellent small tractors of their own design and maybe they are going to continue that.

That may be a good tractor,I don't know, but it' s not very appealing to the eyes. Kinda looks like a kids toy.
