tractor air seat

Hi All...
Anybody ever make their own air suspension seat for their tractor...i see a lot of them for sale but way to much money..the cheapest i could find was 465.00 dollars and that was just for the suspension...seat and suspension was a little over 1000.00 dollars...I've seen one ,the only things that were different was it had a small compressor and an air bag....with all the knowledge here just wondering if anybody made there own for a lot less $$$$...for the compressor could use a small 12 volt one that plugs into the cigarette lighter to pump up tires but could be hard wired with an on off switch..purge valve on the air line for adjusting the ride..air bag and fittings from a parts store....just wondering if anybody tried yet

Make it easy on your self. Just get a small tire inner tube. Set it on your current seat and inflate until comfy....

I seen that on a small lawn tractor but I have a 55 hp

Not air but I did replace the fixed (non suspension) seat on my Mahindra 2615 with a spring suspension seat from TSC for about $100.
It made a world of difference in ride comfort.

I have spring suspension seat now but the seat is only good for 250 lbs..I'm 275 lbs and hits bottom when I hit a bump in the road

I read the other day where another member wedged tennis balls under his seat, kept it from bottoming out. I haven't done it yet, but plan to.

The TSC suspension seats only have a 265# spring rating. I should have mentioned that being only 210 myself it worked for me. There are many others air and spring seats I see on line that will hold 350 lb. but don't see prices.

Oh no doubt! But if I can convince my border collie to part with a few of her tennis balls, and it solves my problem - I think I might have the last laugh.....just sayin!
