I had it together and was splitting wood within a few hours of getting it. I just had not posted the pics of it. This is why I was looking for a coupon that could be used on predator gas powered items. I was hoping to run it today but it did not happen.

Tools that don't suck: Somebody was talking about the needle scaler over on Welding Web.
This reminded me that I have this tool, and it saved the day when nothing else would work. The needles were small enough to clean out bad grout and tree roots around the septic entry pipe. No other tool, and I tried several, could get far enough into that tight circular gap. Its several years later now and the new grout remains watertight.
On welding web, the user complained that he had to sand down and smooth the piston before he could use the tool. But he said at one-sixth the cost of the comparable professional tool, it was cost effective. Mine worked out of the box and paid for itself right there. (But even after loading it with oil, when I went to use it a year later it was bound up and needed penetrating oil plus hammering on the piston to free it up).
Recommended.

OK, Power Auger. This is the third replacement, no extended warranty now. Seal between the gear box and motor leaking badly.
Have it apart if I can't remove the drum half of the centrifugal clutch, to replace the seal, if I can get one, I may fill it {the gear box} with solid grease and put it together and use it as long as it lasts. They work good for a while.
