Wow, I'm envious of your splitter! (the tw-5)

I'm still saving my pennies for a Split Fire stand alone version. I've thought a lot about the TW as well though. They are incredible machines for sure!

A few pics of the wood we worked up a few weeks ago. That stack is over 12' high and 24' wide, and 8 to 12'deep. Will be almost enough for next season.

What in the heck do you heat? That is 18 cords - for one season? You are in WV - you are south of the Mason Dixon line.

Is it a midsize 400 or 500? I have a 400 and really like it. Around 170 hours on mine.

That is at work... for now. Starting a new job in a few weeks.

The ladder wasn't used much in the stacking process. We backed the truck in the garage door partially visible to the right in one photo and handed them up like a bucket bragade. I stacked them like stair steps, stand on one course, stack the one above.

There is a Tarm wood boiler for the new part of the building that has in-floor heat, and a wood stove in one area of the old part (former small elementary school). Not sure of the sq.footage, but over 10k sq foot of heated space. There is also a few propane and electric heaters in places.
